Business training and advice supports new fitness training business
Be relentless in your pursuit for success Sam Ely, Results Aimed Workout
As a personal trainer, Sam Ely understands you get out what you put in – but a good strategy will get you there much quicker.
Sam’s business, Results Aimed Workouts, is a group training facility that offers science-backed, formulated training whilst still offering a personal connection, fun and social interaction with other like-minded people. Unlike other centres, RAW workouts focus on each member of the class, helping them towards their own specific goals.
“My business advisor, Lisa Vincent, has been entirely supportive and helpful in helping me workout the marketing and financial side of my business, as well as helping me through the loan application.” said Sam Ely
Sam worked with his advisor to nail down the financial aspects of the business and plan his marketing strategy. He opened his doors in August 2015 and his client list is growing by the day.
“Sam came to Nwes back in March 2015.” said Lisa. “He approached us to get help with financing the business, business support and training. Living and operating in an eligible ‘Start & Grow’ programme area, this was the perfect funded support option for Sam as it provides the option of one to one business advisor meetings together with the fully structured training workshops to develop comprehensive business, financial and marketing plans.”
Through the Start & Grow programme, Sam Ely received 33 hours of support and attended one training day. £10,000 was invested into the business with an additional leveraged funding of £7,000. RAW created one job and is looking to take on an apprentice in its first year of trading.
Sam Ely received business advice and support through Nwes in the East of England.
